Convention rules

At DPC, convention classes are designed to be a fun, supportive space where dancers can learn, grow, and explore new styles — without the pressure of being judged. To keep the focus on training and experience, no performances or DPC competitions take place during the same weekend as convention classes.
You do not have to register for a DPC competition in order to take convention classes — we keep them separate.
There is no age cut-off. Classes are based on level ability.
You are only eligible for scholarships if you purchase a full one-day band.
If you register late, a $15 late fee is added no matter what level you register at — no exceptions.
You may sign up the day of the event IF there is availability, with the $15 late fee added to the original price.
Wrist bands must be kept on the entire day/weekend and will not be replaced if lost.
DPC has a no refund policy with the exception of medical reasons. Proof will be requested.
No food or drink is allowed for dancers or observers in the ballrooms (only water bottles).
Food is not provided for lunch breaks. Concessions are available at some venues. Please contact DPC for info.
